The bedroom in the 4th floor very quiet, comfortable, large space, with balconney. This hotel in very well located in the center of the old quarter, many restaurants and shopping all around. A lot of motocycle if you want to go farer, they drive very carrefully and you can find them just in from of the hotel. The staff is very friendly, help you for change, for organize travel tours, can keep your luggage between two tours, can pick you at the airport, can find a little room for rest when you return from a tour befor leaving hanoi.
Maybe the shower is old and warm water sometime difficult to have.maybe for breakfast the choice is not big but the noodle soup with vietnamise white coffee is an excellent starter very quickly served with fresh frut.

Hanoi Stay has only 2 stars but service level and service quality are what you would expect of 4-5 stars. This small boutique hotel is situated in the best part of Hanoi, right in the middle of the old town. The rooms and bathrooms are clean .The staff is adorable. The rooms are adorable. Everyone there is really helpful and of all the places I've stayed in Vietnam, their staff speaks excellent English and so you never have to worry about things being lost in translation. From the pick-up at the airport to checking out, the service was of top quality, all the tours/trips were expertly handled, their recommendation of the Calypso cruise through Ha-long Bay was top quality.Overall I would highly recommend Hanoi Stay Hotel .

We stayed at Hanoi Stay Hotel for 3 nights. We found the staff the most helpful and welcoming of all the places we stayed in Vietnam. They are really friendly and the manager speaks English very well. I got lots of cool tips on what to see, where to go.They also helped us to book the trip to Halong Bay, we enjoyed that so much.Thank to Hanoi Stay hotel. We definitely come back again.
Hanoi Stayed hotel is located in a small lane. But that is fine, we can avoid the noise from the main street.

Fine hotel and friendly service in a small street, so it was not that noisy. The tours we made (perfume pagoda and 2 days Halong) were fine and the prices ok
The only minor thing was the absense of a heater in the room, not pleasant as it was quite cold all the five days we stayed here

The Staff were friendly an helpful
The rooms were a bit run down and in need of some general repairs - especially to the door handles!

The hotel staff was very helpful getting tickets and taking care of our transfers. They also took care of our extra bags while we were on our Halong Bay cruise.
The beds are very hard.

The hotel is in the middle of the old Hanoi and easy to access to all attractions and shopping places.
The hotel itself is in a fair condition. However the photos of the room (especially photos of the bathroom are different that they are in real (at least comparing to the bathroom in the room we had) - real bathroom is in much worse condition without the shower tube as it is shown on photo. There is a shower in a bathroom, but it comes out of the wall and there is just an old glass wall that separates shower and toilet. It's nothing wrong with this actually; the problem is that bathroom itself in not in a good condition and looks dirty.

The location is good and rooms comfortable for the price. Staff ok too
Leaky shower typical of most budget accommodation. Very noisy in the hallways and from the alley so bring your ear plugs. Oh and no elevator but thestaff will help you carry your bags up.

the breakfast was made to order.
I requested for a room that is quiet. But there was construction going on until almost 1am outside my window. The room was nothing like the one they posted on the website. It was very old. The drainage in the bathroom doesn't really work. The water from the tub leaks out to the floor before going to the drainage. In addition when I went to bed, I noticed the bedding was not very clean.. there was hair on the bedsheets, I had to place towels over the bedsheets in order to sleep. I didn't bother to complain since i overheard the hotel was already full at the time ad it was close to midnight. I was so glad I only booked for 1 night and couldnt't wait to leave in the morning.
